Pre-Bardin French Command

Here's the command crew for the early French:

Mounted guy, foot guy, standard bearer, sapper (despite what someone said on the forum, I'm actually aghast that we have yet another sapper. I'll be stoned for this but I bet that if I substituted one sapper for another one, no one will ever notice. It's another hirsute guy in an apron, by the way does anyone see the dichotomy in that?). Then drummer and NCO.
So 6 poses ---> 6 figures. How about an extra NCO? Shouldn't you have more NCOs?

Extra heads, arms and standard, just the standard bunch of accessories.

This completes the early French.

An additional NCO would have to be doing something different than the marching NCO. In the "bicorne" period the eagle-bearers were NCOs. If you could come up with an NCO eagle-bearer to replace the sapper it would extend the usefulness of the set.

Nice greens. Most pictures show the sappers with the axe in hand and a shouldered musket. Would this be a second French sapper that HAT would be releasing in 54mm? I do not know if there is a need for two sappers figures, but I will buy a box or two just to get a few sappers for my attack on a built up area. Or has HAT already released a sapper?

I don't think HaT has any sappers right now.
