HAT 1/32ND DEMAND - WW2 ERA???

Hi

if you had a choice which 1/32nd hat figures would be in demand by historical period?

We already have plenty of Punic Wars and Napoleonics, although I know that many of you would like more Waterloo sets - French Imperial Guards and cavalry, artillery etc...

What about WW1 and WW2, British Colonial or more ACW etc...? Armies in Plastic already make many of these era sets, but I havent seen any made for the WW2 era.

Conte and TSSD and others do make WW2 soldiers, in their particular 1/32nd or 54mm scale.

1/32nd scale wargaming is on the increase in the UK and elsewhere, so maybe the demand for other periods will also increase.

Plenty of WW2 sets out there Conte,Tssd,CTS,Aifix, and older stuff like Marx,Matchbox,BMC ect.
I would like to se Hat plug some
WW1 gaps that AIP have left open.

Dear HaT,

please dont drift off into WW2, stick to the Napoleonics that you do so well (not that you would not do great WW2 figures).

There are plenty of WW2 Allied and Axis figures out there, the same applies to the ACW, you have the market with decent Napoleonic figures.

Do 7 yr war Austrians.
At the moment I'm stuck in the 1/32 18th century.

I'd love to see some more 1/32 Napoleonics but stopped buying Armies in Plastic figures because I'm not crazy about the sculpting, for me that is an era totally missing in plastic 1/32; by the same token I have literally thousands of WWII 1/32 scale figures (probably have everything in plastic that I want to have from all companies) but I would gladly snatch up more sets, particularly by HaT as I've discovered HaT's scale bridges the gap between "old" 1/32 sizing (Marx, Accurate, CTS, etc) and "new' sizing (TSSD, Paragon, Conte, Cunnyngham, etc).

I'm waiting for SYW. Complete the Prussians and someone to fight before launching into another area. When that time comes I'd rather see the new AWI figures in 1/32 scale.

I would echo many of the comments expressed so far about HAT concentrating on Napoleonic amd Seven Years War for the time being. If there is a desire to look at other eras in 1:32, the Thirty Years War might be worth looking into. Apart from Call to Arms English Civil War figures there is very little from 17 Century pike and musket era. I would also like to see the Greek Hopolites that masters were prepared by HAT make an appearance.

Other than Napoleonic, I'd like to see some proper Triarii with ability ro hold spears and proper Princepes in chainmail with pilum.
Also some Macedonian Phalangites and other Hellenistic cavalry and infantry types in addition to the Hoplites.

If Hat does more ACW, then it should subjects not yet covered by other manufacturers like ACW naval landing forces/ marines.

I would LOVE to see your 1/32 World War I. AIP figures look like the old metal toy figures in pose. No one has done any good WWI figures. That would be my preference. Although I have about 100-120 boxes of your Napoleonic figures.
