The 1/32 Russians are on the way to US distributors. The European shipment was delayed due to bad weather, it probably won't be available until after Christmas, sorry about that.

I placed on order for the Russians with Michtoy yesterday and will let you know when they arrive.
Did the same, hope they come in before Christmas. But if not, well, I'll have two Christmases this year.
Hello! What color is the Russian figures plastic? Green I hope.
Scott
Yeah, they're green.
They are dark green. My Action and Marching Russian sets arrived today.
Those much-discussed "At Attention" figures look like they will form-up into a nice looking unit.
The packs generally fit well on the action figures. The pegs on the marching figures may require some paring to get the pack snug up against the figure.
I like this set and on first inspection can only find one thing to nit-pick about. There is one place where there is a large area of plastic fill-in. This occurs from the middle of the upper right forearm to the neck of the loading guy.
Since I have a couple Black Cat figures on my desk I did a quick comparison. Of course the color is different since Black Cats are a lighter green. The Hat figures are slightly shorter than the Black Cat figures, after allowing for the difference in the thickness of the bases. Interestingly the Hat packs and cartridge boxes are noticeably larger than Black Cat's.
@All, did only two people here buy the Russians :-(
Im sorry to say but i think i will pass on the Russians they just dont look to the same standard as your previous Napoleonic sets.
The long arms with the Large Hands.
Not big on the loading guy {so he would only get junked}
Cartrige box's look over sized {if i stand them next to Blackcats}
All that might be nit picky to some but its my cash and im just giving my honest feedback.
Rob C,
@ Hatblogger, I puchased a half dozen sets.Figures look good, not big on the standing at attention guy, but am looking forward to the command set.
Hi there,
bought 2 of each Russian Set and whilst I think they are great figures I do not think they are as good as the Prussians. The poses seem more restrained and the detail not quite as good. As with the previous blogger I have to be honest.
I am also confused as to why you did not make all the figures with the Grenadier plume which could have been removed, with the sabre, to make line infantry.
This would have removed the need to include grenadier heads later.

Hi There,
I have purchased 2 boxes of each set and have found them not as good, in my opinion, as the Prussians. the poses are not as well defined, the detail not as crisp or the poses as natural looking. Having said that they are still great figures!
I dont know why you did not make all the Russians Grenadiers as it is easier to remove the plune and sabre to make them line infantry and harder the other way round. This would have saved you adding Grenadiers heads later, hindsight is a marvelous thing.

@Brian023, we did not make the Russian Grenadiers because:
1) the grenadiers already exist in both 1/72 and 1/32 scales by other companies.
2) there were many more musketeers than grenadiers
3) there are small but significant differences the musketeer and grenadier figures
It is possible in the future to make grenadiers with different types of heads in the future if needed.
Dear hatblogger many thanks not meaning to be critical only as helpful as possible fully understand that Blackcat make Grenadiers. Sorry for the duplication of my previous post I did not think it had gone through.
Without going back to the 1805 period the only other headress must be the Pavlov Mitre Cap and that would be useful although with a little artistic licence we could use the 7YW Prussian Grenadier Cap in lieu.
Keep up the excelent work.

Saw the figures at Michigan Toy soldier last week but I did not buy then because no commands have yet been released and I thought the plastic was too soft. I also thought that the figures were a bit smaller than some of the existing lines currently out there.
Adrian
@Adrian, the plastic is regular PE just like everything else and our other regular figures made in PE. The size of the figures is the same as the rest of our Nap. range. They might look shorter due to the shako.
