French line Fusiler conversions

I have been messing around with some Hat figures trying to make a few french line fusiliers I know there not perfect and they still have the second straps from the swords but I did remove the swords from most of them and added a water jugs in there place with 2 part putty.
I used the the Hat French in greatcoats set for some and removed the grenadier shoulder trim from them and I also used some Wurtemberg figures and used 2 part putty to rework the coats to look like french ones and made new cuffs with putty also.

The heads are metal replacement ones from ATKM which worked out great and they mix well size wise with the ATKM figures.I also used the extra fatige caps from the Hat set also.

I wish Hat would do some sets of extra heads for conversion work like this, that would be great!

This is only the first batch I have painted up, I have another batch still one the paint table already half painted. Here are some pics!

Thanks guys! Dave I got the idea of using the Wurttemberg figures as french from you thinking they looked like they could be used as french.
I had to rework the front of the coat with 2 part putty though.

The figures are far from being totally accurate though, They should just have one strap for the cartridge box and the backpacks should only have the shoulder straps and no strap across the chest. I didn,t want to have to re-sculpt that much of the figure given the amount of figures I was working on.

I still have another big batch of these in the works to do up as line fusiliers and I also want to convert a batch of the Bavarian troops into french also.
