I tried that website and does not exist. Why not go more main stream and do this on the treefrog treasures forum THEY HAVE GIVEN HAT INDUSTRIE ITS VERY OWN SECTION.
Ps Napoleonic Cav would be the way to go...I would go Scots Greys WITH BEARSKINS I think they would SELL....then from there French Heavy Cav....then Russian Cav.
Both Italeri and ACTA have both done Scots greys and besides that Waterloo was the ONLY time they saw action! If British cavalry was to be done that would not be the best choice. If your going to stick with popular themes I think some french cuirassiers or polish lancers would be better! Polish lancer could also be converted to other nations figures also with just a paint job in some cases. This is all stuff I,m sure we,ll be going over though once this web site is provided. Sets that we could get more mileage out of would be a good idea like the problem brought up about horses last time, that seamed to be a big deal in getting the cavalry figures made in the first place! If we could find Horses that would fit a lot of different cavalry units types then that,s that many more sets we might see made! All these problems were brought up last time this idea was hashed out and I,m sure we are going to hear about all these problems again once the sight goes up for us! Lets just hope this time we come up with a solution this time and the sets get to see the light of day this time???
make Hussar's with 3 different Hats. one a Mirliton - suit 7yr war Prussian reg no 4-5-6-7-8.French Nassau-Saarbrucken. Russian yellow red blue ...Hussar's. AWI =Hussar of the Lauzun legion. Napoleonic Spanish ,early French, Helvetian Republic, Baden, Austria, Prussia, Sweden...Now please don't make me go on about fur ats and shako.. All the different Boxes and colours (hope AiP is not reading this) ..Oh dear I'm starting to bore myself. or yes the Russian Cuirassier's . I would not mind Fish's Cossack either.
Napoleonic: British Hussars, Prussian Light Cavalry, French Chasseurs a Cheval, Austian Cuirassiers and Ulans, and Russian Cossacks and Cuirassers all have good potential. Many of the other suggestions, as has been pointed out, have already been produced, such as Scots Greys, French Cuirassiers, etc.
I agree with the fact of French Heavy Cavalry, maybe extra hat's to convert them into Carabiniers or Cuirassiers. These are also useable for Russian Cuirassiers. Lancers are a very good option to!
I still dream of those French Line infantry we saw there master passing by once..Then we never heard of them again...But still ''I have a dream''
Yes please - my 54mm stuff remains on hiatus waiting for cavalry.
And will all those who keep saying things have been made before try to remember that they are not longer available - ie Scots Greys have nopt been seen for years.
in line with the already made sets, Wurtenberger cavalry would be obvious, as would Prussian and Russian. Just like the 7YW prussians, a choice of heads would be great. The earlier French dragoon set figures could for instance easly be converted to Austrian/Wurtenberger chevauxleger or Russian/Prussian (incl. 7YW)/Austrian dragoons. all you need is other heads and a little painting skills.
This is great news, I look forward to see what is made.
Some input from me: Perhaps make Napoleonic Hussars, which besides for fairly minor details can be used by just about every nation; Chevauxleger would fit Austrians, German states, and Russians and could even be used as Dragoons for those nations; Lancers would be fantastic to have; and some 7YW cavalry with tricorn hats could be used by every country in that conflict.
What is meant by "participation?" Is it to get on the list of test painters, etc.?
I've been collecting 1/32 plastic Napoleonic soldiers for over 15 years and there are still some major gaps in my armies,in particular Austrian, Russian and Prussian cavalry and artillery. I really like the sets you guys have already mentioned. I'd like to see multiple heads/hat style and colors to represent both heavy and light cavalry of those three countries. I'm still hoping/waiting someday someone will make 1/32 scale Polish infantry and Sweedish infantry for Leipzig. My dream set would be irregular Russian cossacks!
Artillery would be great. Maybe have it set up like the new 28mm ACW artillery from Perry. Or something similar to Armies in Plastic where you would get a sprue of crew figures and a sprue of cannon pieces.
My dream would be to see some Russian heavies or some cossacks at the moment. All these infantry and no cavalry yet! Once the Hat Austrians come out, I'd be just as happy with some Austrian cavalry as well. Also, you can never go wrong with some Polish lancers because, as Fish said, they can be converted to Russian and Prussian (and if I'm not mistaken, Austrian uhlans too) lancers with a simple paint job.

In the meantime you might want to refresh your knowledge of the technical problem. See here:

could also reopen the artillery idea:
