Hi everyone . There is a rumour over on The Hobby Bunker forum  that HAT are dabbling with 1/32nd again . The Austrians to be exact. Working on sprue/runner layout ,trying to get shakos and helmets on it. Can Hatblogger deny or confirm their return to the one true scale?

Regards Martin

So far the "There is no news" comment has not appeared and that may be a favorable sign.

While I think that the Marching French or the AWI infantries might be safer choices with wider appeal I can understand why the Austrians are the focus of attention. They are the farthest along in the production process, some money has already been invested and they were the set on deck when the 54mm sabbatical began.

And definitely Bearskins and Helmets.

I feel the Austrians are a must have . We already have French Wurtembergers and Bavarians for the 1809 campaigns. They need some opposition!

Please oh Please come out with Austrians! I have also seen they are in the works again on the Treefrog Treasures forum

There are still scads of early Austrians and pre revolutionary available on eBay regularly from Italeri (their 1805 line being superb).

There are two things sorely lacking in the world of 1/32 scale Napoleonics: French Line (especially of the quality of HaT's Legere) and French Chasseur a Cheval!!! Followed by Prussian, Russian and Austrian cavalry, not to mention artillery.

I'am still hoping for those beautiful French Line infantry sets...Masters were posted here a while ago!
