Hi -
1/32nd collectors/figure painters & wargamers.
What sets not available currently would be popular ?
I would favour Waterloo period figures - French Imp Guard Grenadiers and Chasseurs myself
thanks

I would be happy to see the already planned Marching French sets released. We could use Fusiliers.
The "new" Supreme Playset French Napoleonics don't fill the bill as they are just copies of the Italieri 1798 set.
Austrian 7 year war.
French Chasseurs Mounted and on foot would be good.
The penninsula war would be my Favorite for Nap era.
artillery and cavalry, for russians austrians ,bavarians and wurtemberg.
I also think that cavalry and artillery for austrians,prussians,bavarians,wurtemberg...should be made
By popular you mean sets that would sell?
I think French Fusiliers are in much need and would do well i would think...And British center company for waterloo.
I,ll be happy just to see the sets that were supposed to be next in line(Austrians,Spanish and french)at this point. And then hope to the future sets from there.
Obscure sets don,t seam to sell very well and larger sales is what will keep the 1/32 scale line going so keep that in mind when requesting sets.
I also have a lot of obscure I,d like to see made they are not selling.
What sets were Hats biggest sellers in 1/72 scale?????
Would they not also be big seller in 1/32 scale?
I,ll be happy to get any new Napoleonic sets in 1/32 scale.
I think regular french line figures would be a big seller as they were the bulk of french forces and all thats available in 1/32 is grenadiers and voltigers.
Do them in great coats and then they can be converted into other figures also.
French line in greatcoats with shako covers in a rough campaign look would be my vote for a new set set after the sets already sculpted are released.
Arabs and Crusaders...maybe! Or focus on the actions at a point in Waterloo like the Old Guard's final charge vs the remnant British Lines.
By the way Anth, I have update my blog to include your welcome gift, hope you like it. Regards David
Cavalry and artillery for France, Austria, Britain and Russia. I will no more convert other figures !
Greetings
Russian Artillery would be most urgent how else are they going to defend there redoubt!
I agree ANY Napoleonic Austrian, Russian, Prussian artillery and cavalry sets would be great. My personal choices that I think would be popular is early war French line infantry with a removable hat choice of a bicorn style, liberty cap and shako. You could turn the bicorn hat to get the look you want. 1812 Russian cossacks and battle of Leipzig Swedish infantry would be nice. British royal navy and marines would also be great. Color of the plastic for us non painters, is also important. I hope when the Austrians come out they are white or cream.
Wouldn't Greek hoplites be great. This at a first stage for the peloponnesian war (Spartan hoplite/Athenian/other)adding peltast set (inculding also bowmen slingers)
If the sets run well, it could open the way to sets of the Persian invasions.
Can't thing of anyone making accurate hoplites in 54mm!
For the Napoleonic period... yes Russian/Austrian cavalry/artillery would be great.
First and foremost, we need the Napoleonic Austrians finished and for sale. Once they are completed, some Napoleonic British would be nice, especially Peninsular War line infantry and highlanders. And instead of the usual marching set, how about a standing at the ready set? That way you can make up a "thin red line".
I just relooked at the Nap Austrians.
Now I think they would be good for the next in line. Then Cavarly!
I like the gift Dave. Cheers
The Austrians!
But I know they will appear the week after I finish my A-H army for Leipzig in Sept, having converted all the command figures.
Napoleonic Spanish Infantry please!!
Napoleonic Spanish for the Iberian theatre of war please!
I would love to see a completely new period: American War Of Independence. British Grenadiers in bearskins for early war and roundhats for mid-war, British Light Infantry with a variety of caps for early war, plus roundhats for mid-war, 17th Light Dragoons in the distinctive Death's Head helmet, British Legion cavalry and infantry in Tarleton caps, Queen's Rangers in the distinctive high-front caps, Royal Artillery in either regulation cocked hats, roundhats, or Burgoyne-style caps.
Not to mention the huge variety possible with American Continentals, Marines, and militia.
