1/32ND SIMPLE CONVERSIONS: UTILISING THE GRENADIER MITRE CAP OUT OF THE hat 7 YEARS WAR PRUSSIAN INFANTRY SETS PLACED ONTO THE hat NAPOLEONIC RUSSIAN INFANTRY FIGURES.
Great job Dave! I did one of these conversions also using the heads from the 7 years set but I only got as far as just doing the one conversion. Yours came out great!
Did Mr Punch wear a bent mitre cap - as in Punch n Judy? - he used to scare me as kid on the sands at Blackpool (not sure if our US friends will know about Punch & Judy?) 9th
That is a great idea, converting them to Pavlov's grenadiers! Imagine the possibilities if HAT made early war French Line Infantry with various head wear. I've never understood why companies have left out the bicorn style hat and the liberty cap. I think people forget how ragtag the French army was in Napoleon's early campaigns. We need some grizzled French vets.
